Craig Cawrse, FASLA

Craig Cawrse is CEO and principal landscape architect for Cawrse & Associates, Inc. He has diverse experience that includes land planning and park design, golf course communities, multi-family housing developments, urban design, and commercial design.  Craig is also an active community member and is currently the Consulting Landscape Architect to the City of Solon, the President of the Chagrin Valley Chamber of Commerce and a Board Member of Scenic Ohio.  He is a member of The Ohio State University Department of Landscape Architecture Curriculum Advisory Board, and is an expert and speaker on open space conservation development. He is also a member of the Smart Growth Education Foundation (SGEF) of the Cleveland HBA and serves as one of their speakers on Smart Growth Issues.  For the past few years he has been one of the site plan reviewers at the NAHB plan review session.  In 2005, Craig was elected  to the ASLA Council of Fellows for his Service to the Profession.

Richard Washington, ASLA

Richard is a principal landscape architect and senior designer who has been with Cawrse & Associates, Inc. since 1993. Richard graduated from The Ohio State University and is currently registered in Ohio and New York. Richard’s work areas include construction contract management, residential land planning, park and public facilities design, and he has been extensively involved with  Smart Growth conservation development projects.  Richard’s additional responsibilities within the firm include managing the office CAD and IT systems.

Reuben Shaw II, ASLA

Reuben is a landscape architectural designer who joined Cawrse & Associates, Inc. in 2017. He graduated from Kent State University where he received a Master’s in Landscape Architecture, a Bachelor’s in Pan-African Studies, and a Bachelor’s in Architectural Studies. His professional affiliations include the Ohio and National Chapters of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). Reuben’s experience includes land planning, landscape design, green infrastructure, 3D modeling, and graphic design.
