We redesigned the Central Village Green for Richfield, Ohio that was previously an unorganized gravel lot which served the park, Fellowship Hall, the Historical Society, and the Masonic Hall. New walkways lead to a central pavilion, and a new parking lot. First–Phase implementation of the parking lot, was undertaken as a part of a SWIF Grant, and added environmental features such as a bio-swale, bio-retention basin, and permeable pavers. These features improved the quality of storm water leaving the site. We were responsible for site planning and preparing a layout and landscape plan. This project is the first phase to a larger ‘Green’ masterplan.
