Corporate Office Building Outdoor Dining Patio
This courtyard is situated between two office buildings, connecting the side entries with the cafeteria. It is used primarily for outdoor dining and group gatherings. The patio was depressed and is enveloped by earth mounds to help buffer it from the nearby parking lot and highway. There are curved raised concrete planters and retaining walls which enclose the space, and also provide additional seating. The colored concrete patio has bands which were produced by sandblasting the surface. We produced the construction details, layout, grading, and landscape plans for this project. We also worked with the owner and the contractor during construction with the layout and concrete work.
