This large garden project was developed in conjunction with a new building addition that enclosed the courtyard. An area of the garden is separated with a fence and will be used by the residents with dementia. A looped path includes areas for umbrella tables, a fountain, seating, bird watching, and a raised planting area will be used for horticulture therapy programs. The main garden winds around an existing gazebo and provides for two outdoor dining areas. Focal points include a private seating area and water wall fountain, a sculpture surrounded by seating and an overhead trellis, and a play area for visiting families. The entire garden is heavily landscaped with plants for seasonal interest.
