University Hospitals, Ahuja Medical Center
The new regional medical center for University Hospitals, Ahuja will embody the idea of the built-environment, embracing nature. Our design team placed the new building into a redesigned natural site plan, utilizing native plantings, bio-swales, and retention areas. The 100 million dollar project will ‘restore’ a once barren site. Other environmental-friendly site features include porous pavement, low-energy lighting, and reduced site maintenance by utilizing native plant materials and reduced storm water runoff.
